I was delighted to attend the launch of St Mary’s Day Care Centre. It is inspiring to see such a welcoming space dedicated to supporting older residents in Kingston. The variety of activities, the friendly atmosphere, and the sense of community here will make a real difference to many lives.”

Testimonials
It was an honour to attend the opening of St Mary’s Day Care Centre. This centre is a wonderful addition to our borough, providing a safe, welcoming, and vibrant space for older residents to come together, enjoy activities, and build connections. I am confident that St Mary’s will play an important role in reducing isolation and enriching the lives of many in our community.”
Councillor Noel Hadjimichael, Mayor of Kingston upon Thames
It was lovely to meet the team at St Mary’s Day Care Centre and to see their wonderful new space in Kingston. The centre is beautifully located and provides a welcoming environment for older people in the community. I look forward to sharing details of the centre with my colleagues at the Alzheimer’s Society and supporting future events.
Lucy Wasdell-Bowyer, Alzheimer’s Society
We had a live-in carer for my 95-year-old sister-in-law for 15 months until she died, and I am just grateful for the infinite care, patience and kindness she showed throughout and for the efficiency of Mary’s organisation. When the carer had her break, another one was moved in with a smooth handover and no disruption, and it was very reassuring that she was able to ring Mary any time for medical or practical advice, and that Mary herself would come from London from time to time to see that things were being done properly. If I ever need a carer myself. I would certainly ask Mary.

‘Mary’s Team was recommended to us and after we had contacted Mary, she and the live-in carer arrived within hours. The live-in carer moved in that night. My mother had been very definite that she wanted to stay at home and not go into hospital. Without Mary and her team that would not have been possible. The team, headed up by Mary, provided loving and caring support to my mother, my brother and myself during the last two weeks of her life. I cannot recommend Mary’s Team highly enough!

We were recommended Mary’s team by parishioners at our church. Mary’s team have been providing care for my partner who suffered a stroke for over a year. Mary and her team have a wonderful work ethic and they are caring, attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend Mary and her team.
